Taylor Symposium on ‘Justice for Immigrants’

New Mexico State University is organizing this year’s J.Paul Taylor Social Justice symposium, entitled “Justice for Immigrants,” on the main campus in Las Cruces, April 2-4.
With a plenary session, panel discussions, photographic exhibitions, music, roundtables and a multimedia presentation, the three-day event promises to offer a multifaceted look at one of the most compelling issues facing our region and the nations on either side of the border. The symposium is free and open to the public. Spanish/English translation will be provided. Opening speaker on the evening of April 2 is

The Department of Government has a Social Justice Award, which, is given each year at the start of the J. Paul Taylor Symposium. The ceremony for the award will be on April 2, at the Kent Hall Museum at 4 pm.
