Candidate Forum Sunday at Temple Beth El

Temple Beth El of Las Cruces will hold a Candidate Forum on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 3 pm at the Temple, which is located at 3980 Sonoma Springs Avenue. Candidates for New Mexico Senate District 37, incumbent Republican Lee Rawson and his Democratic challenger Steve Fischmann, and candidates for New Mexico House District 37, incumbent Democrat Jeff Steinborn and his Republican challenger Kent Evans, will participate in the forum. Written questions will be taken at the forum. There will be no questions from the floor, and the same question will be asked of both candidates. Win Jacobs, past President of the League of Women Voters of Las Cruces and Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Las Cruces is the moderator. Refreshments and an opportunity to talk with the candidates will follow the forum.
