NMSU Choirs’ Holiday Concerts This Weekend

The NMSU Choirs are putting on their Holiday Concert this Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. The concert will include popular, old favorite Christmas songs and some different, beautiful, strange, upbeat, solemn, varied classical Christmas music by Benjamin Britten and Eric Whitaker, a much acclaimed contemporary composer of choral music.
The concert also includes food supplied by Andele (reasonably priced) and (non-alcoholic) drink.
The food is served at 6 p.m. on Friday evening followed by popular songs at 7 and classical songs at 8. On Saturday afternoon it is food at 3 p.m., popular songs at 4 and classical songs at 5.
As always, the concert ends with an all singing rendition of Hallelujah from the Messiah by Handel.
The Holiday Concert of the NMSU Choirs will be held in the Music Recital Hall on the NMSU campus. Tickets are $10, $12, and $15 and can be purchsed through the Pan Am ticket office prior to the day of the concert and at the door on the day of the concert.
