City posts alternative energy survey

The city of Las Cruces has posted a  short questionnaire on its web site which anyone interested in the possibility of installing alternative energy vsm fill out. The purpose is to determine local interest. The questionnaire is reached through the Sustainability program listing near the top of the city’s home page and is simple to complete, asking one optional  “personal” question, that is annual income; no names or addresses are sought. If enough people respond, it will help the council decide to join with the county in setting up a special taxation district to help home owners finance alternative energy installations.
