Your thinking is entirely too logical. Better be careful you don't get on a no-fly list.

What's even worse than the double-dipping is that there is currently no requirement that corporations placing ads identify themselves by their corporate name -- or even get the approval of their shareholders.

Political Contributions by 'Corporations'

Please correct me if I'm wrong...
Each corporation is made up of - PEOPLE -. Starting at the bottom with employees, on to shareholders, board members, CEO's, CFO's COO's, etc. These are all individuals who have the right to contribute to any political election they choose. Many times employees, etc., of larger corporations are "urged" to vote the party of choice of the corporation.
So...
If the 'corporate entity' is allowed to contribute to political candidates of its choice wouldn't this be double-dealing? Or maybe underhanded dealing?

"Wal-Mart for president"! I like it, Steve. Wow, does this Court need new blood? Resoundingly, damn straight! Not wishing anyone harm, but could do-nothing Thomas please leave the room.
