PAX CHRISTI FILM SERIES PRESENTS “MAHATMA GANDHI, PILGRIM OF PEACE”

At 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 8, the Pax Christi Film Series will show “Mahatma Gandhi, Pilgrim of Peace” at the Mother Teresa Center, 2400 East Yandell Drive, El Paso.

Through rare footage and through interviews with the Dalai Lama, Arun Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson) and others, this A&E Biography examines the life of a great 20th century leader and the nonviolent liberation struggle of India against British imperialism. Albert Einstein said of Mahatma Gandhi: “Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this walked the earth in flesh and blood.”
