PlantShare
Mesquite Community Garden
corner of Spruce and San Pedro
Saturday, April 21st
12:00 until 4:00
We will have summer seeds and seedlings. As usual, you don’t need to bring anything, but if you have some leftover seeds, extra seedlings, or can take cuttings, or dig out bulbs or strawberry plants,…whatever grows, bring them to share. Gary Camunez and Miguel Silva are bringing a trailer of compost you can bag up and feed your soil. Free event.
SeedShare at Earth Day
Young Park
Sunday, April 22nd
11:00 until 5:00ish
We will have a limited selection of seeds and kids’ garden packets to get the little sprouts excited about growing food. We will have a challenging seed identification game and there will be Three Sisters seed kits, Bean TeePee seed packs, and Sunflower House seed packs. Seed saving info for many garden plants. Free event.
